I am looking to start online journalling would like to find either a neat website, or a freeware download for a diary. Alot of them have free trials, and the rest look like public ones.

Anybody on here using one? and if so which one is it? or where did you find it?

Blogger.com is the best place I know of for this sort of thing. Since it's owned by Google, it has the added benefit of getting your journal placed on Google's search results so others can find it.

You can also blog here at City-Data.

Depending on how widespread your want to go, your local newspaper's online site might have a blog. Mine does.

I want to write a personal journal or diary like I did growing up. I thought maybe I could write one online. The websites and downloads I found make me nervous, some of them you can ask for privacy but most of them are public.

I guess if I had microsoft works, I could do it that way but I don't. I really get nervous and worried about these blogging and journalling sites. I would rather create one on my own and don't know how...eeks
