Interesting day today for FCX, but I took the opportunity to add another 5% to my position at $32.63. The street may not like the short term prospects of this deal, but I think the synergy here is tremendous, and the long term prospects for this deal are excellent. With a near 4% yield, long term is all I care about.

Currently, around 75% of my portfolio is in AAPL shares. I plan to buy AAPL call options if they announce terrific earnings at the end of Jan and then hold until April. At that point, I will spread out my funds more evenly among AAPL and other stocks.

I would have had my account been setup. My bank was just setup today and I'm not buying anything until I have at least 2k. But I'll be watching this stock though. My first blue chips will be

MMP
HPQ
GE
AMBA
TITN
F

My list so far for OTC

AMPE
MARK
PPHM
SPOW (this is what I will be holding onto in case it does work like advertised)
ZNGA (if they can be the first one out in legal gambling over the internet, if it becomes legal, then this could be a huge player)
REDF
