I would like to know everyone's thoughts on this article and the people interviewed. Some people on this forum have been saying that things like this could and are likely to happen, some people think it's all scare tactics.

What are your thoughts, after reading this?

I stopped reading when I got to the part about a 90% drop in the stock market, quoted by an "esteemed" economist that nobody has ever heard of.

This article is clearly written in favor or the book and its authors as a way to try and get you to buy the book.
By the way Paulson is trash. He made two good bets but in the last too years he is down majorly.

You won't get any kudos for posting "information" from moneynews.com ... that's a proven scare/shock website selling you a product. I had a psychologist friend of mine analyze the language and speaking on the video of that website one day and said that while it's not illegal, he wouldn't trust anything from that website. A kernel of truth wrapped up into a hysterical frenzy; a mountain out of a molehill. The person who runs the website is clearly a master manipulator.

Seems snake oil salesmen are alive and well in the Internet age ...

The stock market bubble will burst when the Fed stops QE. I have no doubt that the ultra-rich in this nation will get the word first, before any action is taken. So I'm guessing that they got the word.
