You'd be surprised at how common it is for people to do their own taxes to save money, and also how commonly people forgo medical and dental care due to money reasons. I'm not of course saying they *should* do it, but that as a matter of fact it is common and a big recession will make it more so by far. These are not recession proof.

A liquor store is 100% recession proof. Unfortunately in my state, they state owned, because the state loves the super-reliable revenue source. There are others, but they take some creativity to think of.

This is true....my father was a dentist in a rural farm town. Usually an entire farm family would come into town at once and all get checked and any necessary work done to avoid extra trips. But if it was a bad year, lots of people would only come in if they had a toothache they could no longer stand.

Depressed economy means those professions can suffer as well
Especially in states where there are many more poor, uninsured numbers than in states with solid businesses that offer good dental and health insurance to employees..
You are just irrational in picking statements to support your beliefs wo really any proof...

Try being a dentist or doctor or a CPA in Flint MI right about now.....

Really--if someone had 10 million in cash you can be offered investments that don't depend on stock market... Why would you even want stocks...
That is just some arbitrary number anyway...
