I have a theory that these predictions that a Trump win would result in a stock market drop of 3% - 15%, were coming from globalists, democrats, leftists, etc. Either they were trying to scare people into voting for Hillary or they let their anti-Trump biases influence their thinking.

The market will continue to go up. Real unemployment will start going down. The wall will be built. And in 4 years liberals will either see the error in their mindset and convert, or keep crying.
Trump will Make America Great Again.
Keep buying the market...Long stocks, Short illegals

I think you are correct but no one knows for sure what the market will do or what world events will cause changes. One thing I know for sure is that the people that kept predicting gloom and doom are just brainwashed morons.

Self-serving predictions. Then they wonder why people lose faith in experts and institutions. E.g.:

“people in this country have had enough of expertsâ€

Consider democratic presidents lead to better stock returns I don't know what case you're trying to make. I hope for a trump crash so Silicon Valley real estate can be cheaper

What we are seeing now is the effect of Obama's policies after ~8 years.

Any change is good, up or down (buy). Just don't like it staying flat.

Change causes anxiety and fear. Those feelings can affect markets, as we know. Not always, as nothing is absolute, but it was widely reported that the biggest changes would come with a Trump presidency, and not a Clinton presidency, meaning their policies and what they'd try to get done.

He hasn't taken office yet and we don't know what will come. There's an elation post-election for some, and that's an emotion that can also drive the market. It's a balance between the spectrum of fear and greed. People think/assume certain promises made will be met and quickly. I'm more of a let's see what happens because I know many things said in an election don't necessarily come to pass and change does take time.

Well Obama can get some credit for the bailouts in 2009. That was a long time ago. I cannot see that the Obama administration has done much of anything to improve the economy since then.
