you don't have to share how much money you have invested in the market (401K's included), but if you don't mind sharing, what percent down or up are you so far in the stock market since the beginning of this year? i'll be impressed if anyone is actually up

up 3% in 2008 no loss of capital.

(moved out of equities in 2007 into ultra stable fund)

I would say for once in my life I finally timed it right. After Bear fell I got scared and went ultra conservative even though every one I spoke to said not to do it as I wouldn't keep up with inflation.

27% up. Options trading plus some buying at the bottom midday Friday, though I was as much as 50% down at one point.

I lost around %5 Of $45,000 In My MMF so far !
So I Lost about 2,500 Bucks!
I'm Thankin God I Switched to Ultra -Low Risk Fund In April 2008.
Before the Market took this Nosedive!

But, It still sucks to lose ANY money!
