We need help finding our beloved 6 mo old female rottweiler puppy. She had on a invisible fence collar but bolted 7:30 Xmas eve night after my aunts neighbor set off fireworks. Poor baby girl. We’re absolutely devastated & scared to death at the thoughts that creep into one’s head when something like this happens. I know attachments aren’t allowed but I’m including a web site where her picture can be seen. Please I’m begging anyone who has seen her or even think you know where she may be to contact me.

I'm sorry to hear about your puppy I hope that someone finds her and returns her to you.

Have you checked with local shelters and animal control? Sometimes these places are a good start.

What kind of a-hole sets off fireworks on Xmas eve?! It's not the 4th of July!

Good luck in your search for her.

Our city has a "Dayton Area Lost and Found Pets" FB page where people post pictures and contact info for lost and found pets.

Check FB to see if your city has something similar.

It's a popular enough custom that Iowa law allows for private fireworks displays between December 10 and January 3.
