When disasters hit all over the world......in places where women and children are hungry........when orphans are roaming the streets.......

Christians or Christian organizations seem to be the only ones out there "helping".....

I've never seen a Muslim missionary.......

Am I wrong? If so, who are they ??

There are no Muslim Missionaries. but there are many Muslims that help during times of disaster. We are forbidden to acknowledge any charity giving or charitable work we do.

A Muslim is obligated to help the needy, all needy without inquiring about any religious affiliation. but we are not to acknowledge we have helped anyone, unless it is felt doing so will encourage others to do so.

Our attitude about charitable help is we are not to even let our left hand know who our right hand has helped.

There are quite a few Muslim charitable organizations.

Guidestar which lists all verified legitimate US charities Names 1,271 Islamic charities HERE

I do urge all people to thoroughly check out any charity before donating to such as this world is filled with false charities that are essentially stealing money from the unsuspecting.

However, most Muslims prefer to anonymously help people directly without going through any organization.

Agreed with above, Muslims don't have missionaries, but they have people dedicated to the conflicts. In every mosque I have been to since the crisis in Syria, there have been separate donations for Syria, and this money has gone to doctors and their staff who have gone there to help those in need.

"helping" by waiving a piece of bread or roll of bandage and asking the needy to become Christians if they want to be "helped"?

There are very large numbers of Muslim missionaries, but they are less inclined than Christians go flock into places whre there is a sudden need for specific work. Rather, they concentrate on improving social conditions over the long run in disadvantaged areas.

The Saudi government has spent billions of dollars in recent years building thousands of Islamc centers throughout the world, which provide a wide variety of community services.

We all know how that has worked out.

"For more than two centuries, Wahhabism has been Saudi Arabia's dominant faith. It is an austere form of Islam that insists on a literal interpretation of the Koran. Strict Wahhabis believe that all those who don't practice their form of Islam are heathens and enemies. Critics say that Wahhabism's rigidity has led it to misinterpret and distort Islam, pointing to extremists such as Osama bin Laden and the Taliban. Wahhabism's explosive growth began in the 1970s when Saudi charities started funding Wahhabi schools (madrassas) and mosques from Islamabad to Culver City, California. Here are excerpts from FRONTLINE's interviews with Mai Yamani, an anthropologist who studies Saudi society; Vali Nasr, an authority on Islamic fundamentalism; Maher Hathout, spokesperson for the Islamic Center of Southern California; and Ahmed Ali, a Shi'a Muslim from Saudi Arabia."

Some truth to that not not quite all true. True Wahhabi'ism started about 200 years ago. It was declared heretical and it's adherents were exiled from the Arabian Peninsula It had nearly died out until the al-saud family returned to the Arabian Peninsula and conqured it forming the kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1932. In 1938 the formation of the ARAMOCO Arab American Oil Company turns the al_Saud family into the wealthiest family on earth and they begin the finacial support of Wahhabi'ism. One family and their Oil Wealth financed the spread of Wahhabi'ism.Begining in the 1950s when they had gotten all the wealth into their pockets.
