Peace be on you. The month of Ramadhan reminds us those blessed days, in which Holy Quran was revealed for the world. Those were auspicious days when mercy of Allah descended. Before those days when, tired of evil-side and brutal deeds of the world, Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him), turned his face from the world, left his family and would go to Hira-Cave to remember his God. He thought that by doing so he was fulfilling his purpose of life. In those moment of lonliness, in those times of separation, in those periods of meditations, there came the month of Ramadhan.
The one who had deserted the world, his Maker, his Lord, his Loving God commanded him to go out and guide the world. Symbolically saying, God told him that he was in search of Him in the cave, He would be found in people’s busy town and its alleyways. Go and tell them that God had not raised them from low state to higher stages for mere eating, drinking and vanishing. Do they think, they would not be questioned?
He was surprised when he listened to the divine message carrier angel. He told the angel that he did not know how to read. After repeated divine messages, he left his seclusion for company. What kind of company this was? It was not where friends complaint to friends, where friends chat happily and relax, where friends debates, tell stories and read poems. It was company where one side was demonstrating continous sincerity and other side was calling names, threatening and being aggressive. This was company, in which one does not desire to go again.
With the every sun rise, Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) would again start his mission to convey the message of God which continued to ask him to deliver. He received the first call in Ramadhan and he started to convey it in Ramadhan. It is pointed in: “The month of Ramadhan is that in which the Quran was sent down…….” (Holy Quran, ch 2 , v 186, alislam.org/quran)
There are deep lessons and reminders in these words. Decline and chaos is due to not practicing the peaceful teaching of Holy Quran.
Quote:
Holy Qur’an is the springhead of real blessings and is the true source of salvation. Those who do not follow it are themselves to be blamed.

The Holy Quran and Ramadhan
Ramadhan reminds that Holy Quran is the teaching of guidance and it differentiate between truth and fasle with glittering signs. Practice on its teaching is needed to pay rights of God and rights of God’s creation. The fundamental reminders are to be humble and to seek God’s help with patience with Salaat (Prayer).
Ramadhan reminds the climax of good news for those who pay dues of Ramadhan, Allah says: “I am near….” (ch2, v 187)
