It's ideal, is to monitor and keep up with Islam's good and not so good, reporting all. This may not suffice as an accurate discription, but look into it for yourself. Wassalaam

Wa Alaikum Assalaam

As this is Islam forum, it is good to discuss Islam here and highlight what is true and pure Islam according to the Qur'an and what is not according to the Qur'an but a later addition or misinterpretation or even hijacking Islam.

It is good to clarify Islam and sift out man-created additions in Islam. Islam is religion (deen) of all Muslims and not just of clerics, scholars or those with beards professing to be the only bearers of the Islam flag.

It is good to discuss whether Islam is only from Allah (God) or it is in three parts; one from God, the the other from the messenger/prophet and the third from those in authority. What is the Sunnah of the Prophet and whether it is mentioned in the Qur'an or not? What is the straight path and whether it is path from Allah or from the Prophet?

There are many issues in Muslim Ummah today that need to be discussed and true Islam highlighted not only in the best interests of the Muslims but also for the information of the non-Muslims who are human beings like us and have equal right to be existing alongside us. We need to look at us as human beings (vicegerents on earth) first and Muslims second.

Islam is only from Allah (SWT). It is not from any man, even the prophet. It is Islam and not Muhammadism.

[21.92] Surely this Islam is your religion, one religion, and I am your Lord, therefore serve Me.

Serving our Lord is Islam. Worshiping Allah (God) is part of serving God rather than serving God is only worshiping God.

Until Muslims understand that serving God is a much bigger picture than a ritual worship, they are not going to understand the purpose of their creation.

Sunnah of the Prophet is another misunderstood concept. There is no mention of "sunnat-al-nabi" or "sunnat-al-rasool" in the Qur'an. But "Sunnat of Allah" is mention several times in the Qur'an. Therefore, Muslims need to understand what do they mean when they talk about Sunnah of the Prophet. Scholars differ on definition of Sunnah of the Prophet because it is not from Allah but people-devised concept.

Straight Path is shown only by Allah. Even when the prophet prayed he asked Allah to guide him on to the straight path. Muslims today also pray to Allah to guide them on to the straight path (1:6). It is Allah who guides us to the straight path.
