We are going to the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra's "Broadway to Hollywood" performance this weekend. I had hoped to have dinner at Chew first, but they are closed until this summer (relocating the restaurant). Any recommendations for good eats within walking distance to Jacoby Hall at the Times-Union Center? Would prefer not to eat at The Landing. Our back-up plan, if we can't walk to dinner from Jacoby Hall, is to eat at bb's then drive to the performance.

Thanks for any input you have.

Indochine is one of the best restaurants in Jax.

Burrito Gallery (below it) is great casual fare & bar.

Chicago Pizza is an A+ sports bar.

Finn McCool's is a solid irish pub, with some authentic irish pub food.

Chart House is pretty darn good, awesome ambiance.

Etc.

Wine Cellar which is right across the bridge. They accommodate for the shows, making sure you finish before showtime.

Matthews, also just across the bridge in San Marco is an excellent choice for fine dining.

Normally I would suggest Chew but since that's out then your best bet is probably Juliette's at the Omni. If you don't mind driving and parking after dinner (which could be a crapshoot) then obviously there are tons of other choices.

Default Thank You!

Thanks for all of the great suggestions. I'll be calling around to try to get reservations to one of them today.
