Hi. Myself and my girlfriend will be moving to Jacksonville closer to the end of this year. We are a young couple. We are not into parties etc, just wanting to live a more simple, laid back kind of life.

Can you please tell me some areas of Jax that are safe to live in but also close to shopping, restaurants , etc? We prefer an area that is affordable. We will be renting an apartment until we know the area more.
Both of us are Certified Nursing Assistants so an area close to hospitals or assisted living facilities would be nice but not a must. Thank you in advance for your reply.

-J

For now between 600-750, we don't want to pay for space we wont use, so just a 1 bedroom is fine for now.

Honestly could you do more like 850-900? 750 will get you a 1 bdrm that is in a mediocre area but thats about all.

Check in Riverside or Springfield which are in the Urban Core close to Downtown. You should be able to find something in your price range there.
