We are planning on building a Dreamfinder Camden II home in Palm Coast at the end of this year or when they open up the new phase. I have read 56 pages of comments on another thread. Some interesting, some scary and many very helpful. Can anyone give me some insight on the cost of of the Bay window in the cafe and the bedroom? Also, how much extra was a 3rd car garage if the lot allows it? I talked to a sales person at the main office and she said they have switched to Timberlake cabinets. The only reviews I can find on them are negative. Thoughts? Thanks.

I don't have the exact answer to your question, but I can give you a quick explanation of what we did and the price and perhaps you can make an inference from that. We built an Avalon 2 in Amelia Concourse

In our master bedroom, we did the extra large bay window option (the entire wall becomes a bay window). The area that went from flat wall to bay windowis ~12' if I remember correctly. That cost us $4600. I don't know what dimensions you have, but I do know that DFH doesn't seem to fool around with telling you any prices before you sign a contract. Maybe if you bribe them with good wine? I'm not too sure. However, hopefully this provides you with at least some sort of jumping off point.

FWIW, we have had so far (knock on wood it continues) no complaints about building with DFH, but we are also in a completely different neighborhood.

Default Timberlake cabinets

We have had Timberlake cabinets in both of our houses here in St Johns County, stained in our first home and painted in our current home. We purchased a new home in 2008 and lived there for 6 years then built our current home in 2014. We haven't had any problems with the cabinets in either home during the 11 years here. They are much better quality than Aristokraft which most builders here use.
