We moved here almost two weeks ago from Ohio. So far, we love it here. Everyone we have met has been really nice. Southern Hospitality at its best.

I personally do not live in Jacksonville, but "temporarily" moved my son last year (attending FCCJ) and visit quite often
. My son absolutely, without a doubt, loves Jacksonville

I moved down from Maryland 27 years ago driving a black on black Ford Escort not equipped with air conditioning. My first Florida lesson - a/c is not optional. Second Florida lesson, driving out on dry sand should not be done, under any circumstances, with a Ford Escort. I hadn't noticed prior to flooring the engine and attempting to "go for it" that all the vehicles on the beach were four wheel drive trucks.
I still love it here!

I've been here for a year, moved down back in '08 when I got a new Job and relocated from Tallahassee to the Southside. Been in Florida all my life so I knew what to expect overall, but I really do enjoy this city thus far (especially when compared to the doldrums of Tally. Though I do miss the bike trails). Have met some great people, the atmosphere is generally extremely laid back, and there are always things to do.
