We have been here 7 months. We moved from Atlanta. We also love it here. Almost glad that I lost my job up there and got to move here.

I was born and raised in Jacksonville. All my family and friends/acquaintances are Northsiders.

I moved her on February 15, 2002. I've lived in California most of my life, and I really can't wait to go back. I love the mountains.

We moved here almost two weeks ago from Ohio. So far, we love it here. Everyone we have met has been really nice. Southern Hospitality at its best.

I personally do not live in Jacksonville, but "temporarily" moved my son last year (attending FCCJ) and visit quite often . My son absolutely, without a doubt, loves Jacksonville (Kidding about the crying, not that he loves it). If he's happy, I'm happy.

I moved down from Maryland 27 years ago driving a black on black Ford Escort not equipped with air conditioning. My first Florida lesson - a/c is not optional. Second Florida lesson, driving out on dry sand should not be done, under any circumstances, with a Ford Escort. I hadn't noticed prior to flooring the engine and attempting to "go for it" that all the vehicles on the beach were four wheel drive trucks. I still love it here!

I've been here for a year, moved down back in '08 when I got a new Job and relocated from Tallahassee to the Southside. Been in Florida all my life so I knew what to expect overall, but I really do enjoy this city thus far (especially when compared to the doldrums of Tally. Though I do miss the bike trails). Have met some great people, the atmosphere is generally extremely laid back, and there are always things to do.
