applying for jobs that have locations both in the US and out of the US...should I get a passport?

It costs about $100. I think someone would look pretty bad if they applied for an international job and then asked the company to fork over the money for a passport.

Actually, if you have the $$$ you can get it overnighted to you nowadays, in many cases. I think vitalchek.com is the service that the State Dept recommends.
