Literally just started looking for a new job last week. Spent about 3-4 hours total applying online last week.

Set up an interview for Monday, went well, offered me the Job Tuesday . Working in a completely different industry too.

World of difference from last time when it took about 4 months of looking hard.

Seems to be a much looser market right now.

Congratulations! Did you accept?

That's what I've been hearing so I updated my resume over the weekend and got 2 calls so far! Hoping for an interview soon; one with a company I've been anxious to get into!

That's great!
I think late winter/early spring things tend to heat up. I have gotten jobs in March or April.

Congrats! it could be a slightly better job market that is the cause.

Or maybe your skills, Work history and presentation knocked them out and they wanted to snag you before someone else did. A high caliber person can cause employers to compete.

Either way, You are in good shape!

I did accept since it was a good offer working for what seems to be a good, stable, growing company.

Good luck

I agreed. Things seem to be heating up. I've started to apply in December and I had interviews at five different companies. One rejected me, one offered and I rejected, the other three are in progress. I think it is a sign of improvement. Good luck everyone.

Good to hear some real progress, Cause there is. More is needed. Things have been down for so many years, And so many suffered that it became hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel. I hope those who are trying to make things better get their opportunity tenfold. God bless America.

Nuff said!
