As the title suggests, I'm looking for a new job. Surely, the potential employer will ask me why I'm leaving my current position. What I'd like to tell them is this: "My current job sucks to the nth degree. The stress is beyond ridiculous, the company demands that I make too many concessions in my personal life for them, expectations are unreasonable, management is atrocious, etc."
Of course, that will likely not sit well with potential new employers. So, what are some suggestions for explaining why you are leaving when you are leaving because you absolutely HATE your current job/employer?
Tell them at the interview that you feel you have come to the end of your learning potential at the other company and you wish to expand your skill base and knowledge and feel a new company with greater opportunities for promotion and improvement is the way to expand your skills and knowledge as well as taking a few higher education classes.

Very tempting, but the last thing to do, and you'll automatically disqualify yourself. I'm sure the HR folks here can verify that.
If I one day get a job interview and that question is asked, I'd say something along the lines of 'I'm looking for a new challenge. I've been at my current job for 'x' amount of time, and I feel as though I've gone as far as I can go. Upward mobility is limited, and I desire to work for an organization where the opportunities for growth are greater.' Something like that...don't know if that would land me the position, but I'm sure HR people must know that's a potentially loaded question.

A little over a year. That's where I think part of the challenge comes in. Are they really going to buy that I am leaving because there's no upward mobility after only a year? I'm really not sure.
Part of the urgency here on my part is that the stress has taken a physical toll on my body. I want to get better as soon as possible, and as long as I'm in this role, I don't think that's going to happen.
A year is long enough to say that the job is not challenging as you thought it was going to be. You want to find a company that can provide you with a long term career and challenge you to grow.

This pretty much covers everything. You're not trashing your current employer and you are making it sound as if it's simply a matter of you wanting to grow professionally (which you do, anyway, so it's not lying).
