Resume -- Contact info (apply, interview, application, job)

I was working on my resume today. I decided to make a completely new one because I am going to apply for a job and I wanted it to be completely fresh.

Well, it seems I have too much to put on one page and have to make it two pages in order to keep all the relevant information (past jobs, education, training, etc).

I was able to get everything on two pages and it looks great. However, the only contact info I have on there is my name and phone number. Is the address really "that" important???? I had to take the address out of the resume in order to make everything on the first page fit on the first page.

Address is semi-important to some, but as long as you have phone and email listed, I'd say that's fine.

Oh, and REALLY - don't worry about the "1-Page Resume" thing. Worry about proper content, spelling, grammar, etc. before you worry about formatting.

I wouldn't worry about the contact info being complete. You can include complete address in the cover letter or as part of the online application process.

Yes, I want to know how much it's going to cost us to get you here for an interview. And consider if you're a strong enough candidate to justify that cost. Also, your email address is a must as well.

If you cant get this info on your resume, be sure to include it on your cover letter.

Can you not get all your contact info on one line in an organized way? Name - phone - address - email or something of the like?

You will need the city, state, and zip code. The street address is not needed. If they get 100 resumes, they will start interviewing the local ones first. If it's a small company, they may not be able to afford flying you for interviews.

When I am update my career builder profile it only gets e-mail, city and state to prevent Farmers and Statefarm burning up my minutes. All others get phone number too. I don't see the need to put address down and no one has mentioned it.

And no.... there is no flying in for an interview required. The job is in Manhattan and I'm on LI (about an hour by commuter train)

My resume is 3 pages long, and none of the information is irrelevant, people tell me that my resume is very impressive. I have tried condensing it, but when you work in industries with continuing education, yearly trips to conventions and what not, it's hard to not add to your resume!
