One is on Thursday Feb. 6 and the other is on Friday Feb. 7.

I want to weigh both my options equally. Assuming the Feb. 6 one offers me the job on the spot, would it be couth to ask if I could have time to decide? (Enough time to go to my second interview on Friday?)

If yes, would you suggest I be honest about why I want more time.... or just lie?

If I should fudge on the truth, what do you suggest I say?

Employers especially.... what would you suggest? I feel I have a right to weigh both my options, and truth be told, I may want the Friday interview job a little more. But I'm not sure yet.

Not at all. Ask if you can sleep on it for a few days, it will not hurt. They will likely ask if you have other offers though, it's a great way to negotiate.

Do you really have to ask anyone to lie? Grow up.

Nah. Don't wanna.
I'm asking if I should lie. I'm not asking permission to. Most people with a work history have lied... and that's the truth. (haha)
