First;
Let me say, I have a LIMITED geographic list of places I will move for a job/career.
They are:
- Adironack area/upstate NY/Albany
- Vermont
- New Hampshire (minus coastal area)
- Coeur d'Alene/Spokane
- Denver/Colorado (currently live)
- 'maybe' Wisconsin
- All of British Columbia, All of Alberta, Southern Quebec
Basically my perquisites are areas that get cold enough where lakes/water freezes, snow skiing, lakes, four distinct seasons, smaller cities/communities.
Second;
I am in the creative industry** and have been for 15+
(**but I'm also in the hockey industry, played professionally, collegiate) and have been for 25+
Third;
I have a job with a company that is great! Great to work for! Some of the most supportive, understanding people out there. My co-workers were more supportive than my friends when my daughter died.
But, I'm tapped here. Maxed out in promotions, growing and salary etc. Currently I make 45k + bennies etc.
Fourth;
I have been GUERRILLA warfare job searching. Say it, think of it, I have tried it. I have done things like: posting fake jobs on Craigslist to get responses to see what my competition is like. I have even used Linkedin and other tools to find out who the hiring managers are and obtain their work email(s) to address them personally.
I have contacted everyone on my Linkedin it is exhausted. I have worked with recruiters, career center through my masters program (huge waste of time).
This search has been going on for 2.5 years and I'm about at the 740+ resume send out mark. Most of the searches and titles I look for are: senior graphics, art director, creative services, senior creative, graphic hockey, art department.
Sending resumes is becoming stale and pretty much useless. These days, I barely get automated responses.
Fifth;
Ideas or suggestions?
I have attached what my creative and hockey resume(s) look like.
Any input I would greatly appreciate.
I don't know what the first two pages of hockey experience will do for you unless you're looking for a coaching gig. Or perhaps that's a separate resume?
Your resume is ok except along with describing what your roles/responsibilities were, give a blurb or two about (quantifiable) achievements. Yeah, you did those things but how well did you do those things.
Be aware that you are at a disadvantage as a non-local candidate so it's going to take you much longer (and a good amount of luck).

Yes. Sorry forgot to mention, separate resume.;•) I have applied for several coaching positions as well.
I also forgot to mention, I am looking only in the 55/58-85k.
