Following up with a company you interviewed with to tell them you have another offer? (job, experience)

Has anyone here ever gotten an offer from one company and reached out to another company you interviewed with to Inquire about their decision because you have other offers?

I'm curious as to what people have experienced personally if they have done this?

is this related to your other thread? do you actually have an offer; or are you trying to play a game to get them to respond?

if you're playing a game- i would strongly discourage you. It could end up backfiring - what type of job is this that you are waiting on? It's typical to take longer on higher level positions; most entry level stuff will be faster.
