If the answer comes to easy to a question, then it is not the correct answer...Then you must dig deeper and deeper and turn it over and over and examine it and dissect it until it is laid bare and there you will find the truth...Truth can only be found through debate, disagreement, argument and questioning...

Ooo...I see suspicion welling up....

I did because I forgot I was in the Judaism sub-forum. I changed it out of respect.

Since I am human, I forgot for a second. Although I am not religious, I find the study of it to be very interesting since overcoming my Christian indoctrination. Do you have any insights into this topic?

According to my learnings HaMoshiach could be anyone from any generation...Moshiach simply means anointed (by HaShem to do such and such) as opposed to the Xtian definition of Messiah that it means Savior....I would have to say that Moshe, David and many others were Moshiach because they also were anointed to do what HaShem required of them...When HaMoshiach is recognized it will be because he has completed 100 percent of the things that he must do to be considered HaMoshiach...It is similar to a Nevi'im or prophet, he is either 100 percent correct in his prophecies or he is not a prophet and therefore has not been sent by HaShem...Bar Kochba had a following as HaMoshiach, because of the things he did, however, he died before completing all the tasks of HaMoshiach and therefore he was not HaMoshiach...

Okay that makes sense. Having the "savior" part wrong is why I was so confused. Thanks for the explanation.
