I heard my Rav say to have a "kasher Purim" and a "freilichin Pesach." Beautiful idea.
Old thread, but the sentiment is still the same, in these Purimadik times.
Everybody already hear Megillas Esther twice? Did you appoint your Rav as shliach to give out your matanos l’evyonim? Prepare your shalach manos? Heading to a Purim seuda tonight? Those are your mitzvos for this auspicious and important holiday.

Yes, I'm heading out to a Purim sueda shortly, after which we will have a(nother) reading of the Megillah. From what I've learned, it is fine to have a third reading as night falls as long as we begin before sunset. Is this in keeping with you've been told?

I had the order of the festivities wrong. We first heard the reading, so we completed before sunset - by five minutes. (Then, lots of fun as we enjoyed the delicious food and listened to the kids make a tumult.)
I enjoyed the poppyseed hamantash. Hope everyone had a Happy Purim!
