River Market would be great. Also parts of Downtown like the Library district, Quality Hill, Garment District. Just south of downtown you have options in the Crossroads district and Union Hill and then you have Wesport and the Plaza areas. Quite a bit to choose from really. River market would be closest to Riverside though.

River Market or Downtown, you everything you mentioned and I am pretty sure the commute will be right around 15-20 minutes

I would agree with the above posters. Given what you're looking for and your commute to Riverside, I think the River Market or possibly Downtown would make a lot of sense.touch sleepy, particularly in the winter months, but I like that area a lot.

I found a place in the Quality Hill District and I am really enjoying it so far. The Quality Hill area fit me a little bit better than the River Market lofts that I looked at. The River Market was just a bit too sleepy for me and seemed just a little too far from the action.
