A few years ago, I was driving fairly aimlessly through KCK with a friend and I remember seeing a small red building with a Private sign and another sign on the door that read "Those who pass through this door are the finest people in the world." Where approximately was this located, and does anybody know what the deal is with this building?

It's the Illuminati's HQ.

It is on the southwest corner of N 10th St and Walker Ave, just north of N 10th St and Washington BLVD a few blocks.

Washington BLVD in downtown KCK is basically like Troost in KCMO and you were on the "wrong" side. Keep going further north, north of Parallel Parkway, and it's like crossing Paseo in KCMO, so it gets even "worse". The next east-west corridor, Quindaro BLVD, is basically analogous to Prospect Ave in KCMO. However, those rules don't apply west of 635, only east of 635 in the inner city.

Thanks; I seem to vaguely remember that it might have been near Quindaro but wasn't completely positive. And I do believe that is what we joked about at the time as well.

Brings back a lot of memories, In the old days I used cover on foot from Parkwood park to Bethany Hospital to Wyandotte High to Quindaro Park.
I believe Freeman Auto parts was near there, a Hammond Organ company, D&H tire , and Parkwood oil and a mausoleum company. There was a dozen or more businesses along there back then

^I believe Parkwood Oil and the mausoleum business (they're the same?) are still there, at least last time I noticed. Well, at least there's some business on the north side of Parallel, just west of 10th St, that has a storage yard full of what seem to be concrete contraptions that coffins go into.
