Once again my Jayhawks have broken my heart.

Guess I have to add Northern Iowa to my list of colleges I hate - Bucknell, Arizona, UTEP, Rhode Island, Syracuse, et al.

I was surprised, but not bummed to see KU go out this early. I have always liked KU basketball. Never liked Roy Williams, but his teams sure have been consistent.

Of course, I am showing my age since I am talking about late 80s to late 90s. I just sort of always expect them to be at the NCAA elite 8 at least.

KU has disappointed me many times over the years. They always seem to be highly ranked and expected to win it all, only to lose in unexpected fashion. This year, I expected them to lose despite the predictions that said otherwise. I told my son this last Thursday. Glad my instincts were proven correct.
