A friend from out of state is considering a home in the Daniel Boone High School District, in Gray, but she is concerned about the school being crowded. Would anyone happen to know the ratio of students to teachers, or, about how many students attend Daniel Boone? Her son does better with fewer students in a classroom, as he is shy. Thank you for any opinions on this.

I have no idea, but you could probably just call the school's secretary and ask.

You can get lots of info on schools online. It looks like there are about 1400 kids in 9-12, and about 23 kids per teacher - although that doesn't necessarily indicate class size. Google great schools, school rankings, school ratings, etc.

Thanks, everyone. The Washington County website does not indicate these things. Another thing she is concerned about is bullying, aggressive high schoolers, etc. Her son is shy (and small). Maybe a private school would be better for her, but I know she cannot afford it.
