We are booking seats for an upcoming production. For those of you that have attended: What/where are the best seats? I saw the theater seating chart online and stopped dead in my tracks. There were so many choices!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Finally made it to the downtown theatre!
Saturday night my husband and I and another couple attended Blue Moon's latest play, 'Deathtrap' by Ira Levin. The theatre was packed - couldn't have fit anyone else in. What a pleasure to see all the activity downtown (including Ocberfest at Frieberg's).

What a fun evening! All the characters' dialogue was challenging and eloquent - and the play contained a dizzying series of plot twists and turns that kept you riveted to what might happen next. (A few fight scenes on the one-set stage almost made you believe it was really happening!) All five local actors seemed like first-rate professionals and were perfectly suited to their roles.

The five-course meal (served promptly) was very tasty and 'gourmetish' - although some men might consider it weeny (I told my husband they were *healthy* portions. And actually you're only supposed to eat until you're 2/3 full). I thought it was perfect! We'd brought wine along, as had others we noticed and the wait staff quickly brought us a corkscrew and wine glasses (no charge for opening the bottle).

I guess with most any dinner theatre experience the only negative is seating that's never as comfortable as a movie theatre - or home.. So I'd have to say that all in all our evening was a great success with the exception of our sore __tts! (My husband said a great improvment would be comfy, maybe even rolling chairs although it might be hard to fit them in that space).

Don't know the answer to the question above but I'd guess probably the best seats are the ones closest to the stage..

For a change of pace from the usual, more mundane JC fare I would highly recommend 'Deathtrap' in particular and the Blue Moon for a great evening. (I think it runs til November 7th). For one split second I almost felt like I was in New York experiencing a Broadway play..
