"Knoxville-based Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has identified two locations in the heart of the Knoxville-Oak Ridge Innovation Valley® as "giga-sites" ideal for attracting large, new data centers. The sites are Partnership Park South Industrial Park, a 210-acre site on U.S. 321 in Blount County near the city of Maryville, and Creekwood Park, a mixed-use development with 200 acres available adjacent to I-75 in Loudon County."

Knoxville-Oak Ridge Innovation Valley® Identified as Prime Spot for... -- MARYVILLE and LENOIR CITY, Tenn., Dec. 7, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --

Has to be good for employment if it happens.

It would be great to have high tech companies in the Creekwood Park property in Le Noir City. But since the residents have voted a new mayor with questionable records in office, I would steer away and look elsewhere in Knox, Blount, Sevier and Anderson counties. It would probably be OK if the poperty was located in unincorporated Loudon County.

What do you mean by a mayor with questionable records in office? Specifically? He has served in a public capacity before? How would his being mayor be a detriment to this company?

And why do you call Lenoir City, "Le Noir" City? I've never seen it written like that.

I'm just asking because I really don't know what you mean. Thanks.

Yes, Tony Aikens (the recently-elected mayor of Lenoir City) was on the city council for several years, served as vice-mayor and he also ran for the county mayoral position which he failed. He has been Deputy Chief of the Loudon County Sheriff's Office for about twenty years or so. He still holds that position after being elected to the mayoral position. Couple of years ago, he was indicted for extortion, which was dismissed. I don't remember the whole story, but I do remember being told by insiders how he got away with it. The reason I said I would steer away and look elsewhere in Knox, Blount, Sevier and Anderson is that Lenoir City and Loudon County are still stuck with the ol' boy thing.

It is kind of silly -- my childhood friend who grew up in Lenoir City was the one that brought that up and it kind of stuck with me. I don't remember how he came up with that, but I think it had something to do with French he learned. This was a little over 30 years ago.

I promise I will start spell the way it is spelled.

Brian, you can continue to spell it that way. I certainly don't mind. I was really just wondering if there were two ways to spell it. Also, thank you very much for honestly answering my questions!
