Hello, I'm looking to move to Las Cruces sometime this winter, and i'm not sure i'll be able to afford a pre-move visit
, so i was wondering if anyone knows of an inexpensive motel/suite temporary place to stay in a safe environment. needn't be fancy at all, but don't want to be worried or live with cockroaches. and by inexpensive I'm talking no more than 150 per week. cheaper the better, so we can get our bearings and look for a more long term place. oh, and we have 2 cats.
Also, was wondering if people can give me an idea of the areas in las cruces. i can only tell so much with maps and pictures and such.
what neighborhoods are what? whats the downtown area? whats the area with higher crime, etc.
any info and tips would be helpful.
