Are there any gay bars in Las Cruces? (Albuquerque, Santa Fe: homes, university)

Just got back from Las Cruces and really enjoyed your town. Just curious, is there any gay bars or places where gay people meet?

If there was one, I'd be absolutely shocked.

I don't think LC has the population to support a gay bar.

No I dont think so.. But El Paso a short 45 min drive to Downtown from Cruces has a couple.. one is even very popular for the straight guys who go there to pick up the women who go there to not be picked up.. lol.

So if your looking for that sorta thing.. El Paso would be your best bet.

I just went "Google-ing."

I'd also think New Mexico State University has a "gay" student alliance group of some sort. Las Cruces, and NMSU are not as open-minded generally speaking as Albuquerque/Santa Fe, and UNM though.

Las Cruces is a very conservative city and I always think of el paso as
a real cowboy town. Santa Fe is much more liberal than Las Cruces.
