I am thinking about moving to Las Vegas and am thinking about Highlands Ranch in the Southwest part of Las Vegas. There doesnt seem to be much around except for homes. What does everyone think of that area?

It's adjacent to Southern Highlands, which some people consider remote but others (including many of those who live there) consider wonderful. I don't live there, but I like the area a lot. It has good access to I-15, and it's not far from the 215 Beltway. There isn't an overabundance of shopping there yet, but it's a growing area, and more retail is likely to follow. South Point and M Resort are a short drive away, if casinos are your thing.
