The first restaurant in there (and the building was built for) was from Mario Maccione (sp) of Le Cirque/Circo fame... Trey's (his pet project) just didn't work out, the food was horrible.

Hannah's was mis-managed (food not extraordinary and overpriced) and I don't think Sea Stone ever opened, if it did, it wasn't for long.

With so many dining choices in that one particular area of the center (and very popular ones at that) Cheesecake Factory, Gordon Biersch, Kona Grill, PF Changs across the street..Jilly's has to keep prices reasonable, keep the food quality up and offer something different than the other restaurants.

Patio seating is a plus, even in the heat, misters help a lot and if you patronize these restaurants in the evenings, the patio seating tables are always full and have wait times like the inside dining.

I agree with others, a menu to view online would be nice...

With the right "stuff" and good management, this location could prove to be a winner, those other restaurants are PACKED on weekends, trust me, I've waited sometimes an hour just to eat at Kona or Cheesecake Factory

If it was my place i'd have a good happy hour & outdoor patio with misters. I would invite staff from CityLife (& other local mags), LVRJ staff, Heidi Knapp, maybe concierges from some of the casinos over whoever I needed to invite, to try the place out. They should also use Opentable.

Speaking of happy hours....

TGI Friday's in the Suncoast advertises that their happy hour is 24/7 and that appetizers are 1/2 price all day.

Umm... wouldn't that then mean there is never a discount and the apps are just being sold at regular price?

Looked at their menu in Chicago. Doesn't look the least bit special, interesting or different. More of the same old stuff. It would be nice if they had something on the menu that said "eat me." I am so bored with all of these chain restaurants. No one has any imagination or creativity. Maybe I watch too much Food Channel.

I used to work at Hannahs. Hannah, the owner and daughter from the famous An family, drove that restaurant into the ground. Worse owner Ive ever worked for. Anyone who demands to be called 'Ms. Hannah' needs to realize respect is earned, if anything acknowledging the people that work for you would be a start. Not only did she not pay the bills, she neglected to pay us. That patio was a hell of a money maker while it lasted, and we did serve a full menu out there. I agree the valet was lame but you were more than welcome to park yourself and it was free.

Goodluck to this new venture.

Speaking of new restaurant/bar, Miller's Ale House in Town Square has great food, at least the ones we ordered yesterday was great. Extensive menu selection, the whole restaurant has so many flat screen TVs, it has outdoor seating, semi-outdoor bar with windows that open and the main restaurant floor. In the semi-outdoor bar alone I counted around 25 large flat screen TVs for its patrons. The server said it has over 70 flat screen TVs in the restaurant, I'll just have to count it when I come back.
Been there two times now. Like the place alot. Service is great! Don't forget to count the TVs outside on the patio. Was told 72 TVs.
