I totally agree that job fairs are a waste of time! I went to several when I was looking and it was 5 actual companies who were hiring if that. The rest were schools or armed forces trying to get you to sign up.

I agree that most are a waste of time but every once awhile there is a real legit job fair. Not these phony job fairs with space to rent for trade schools and multi-level marketing schemes.

Yeah. The better ones (to the best of my knowledge) are usually the ones that the individual casinos hold when they're looking to hire "200 new people" or "400 new people" or whatever the case may be. Granted, these usually only happen when a new property opens up or an old property expands, but it seems like there are at least a few each year.
