I'm with you Pink but......this IS Las Vegas and I suppose $13.70 an hour is a GOOD thing in this town. (never thought I would hear myself say that) plus, it is with Teamsters. The pay goes to $15.40 after 6 months and then in a year $17.80. I mainly love the fact that you pay NOTHING at all out of yourcheck for medical (which is what I am accostomed to being from NY) just your union dues of $43. In addition to that, there is always the commissions. My friend there, sometimes makes $500 in under 5 minutes when someone calls to book a suite; as you also get 10% commissions.

I'm just going to bide my time there for 6 months or so. Caesar's Entertainment is pretty large and they encourage moving around within the company. Who knows.....I just might like it.

I can't believe a phone centers employees are in a union, it blows my mind. The Teamsters started out with the truck drivers and now call centers. Is answering the phone an skill? I think not, watch these jobs will be outsourced then you all will be out of a job, Go teamsters.

Does truck driving require a college degree? Unions cover a lot of employees with jobs you obviously consider insignificant.

Yes, being a call center employee requires a skill. They have to learn how to be polite to the ignorant like yourself. Perhaps your name should be changed to "HATESEEKER".....smdh....wth does WHO is in the Teamsters union matter to you? Is your last name Teamster?? Read the question again. It is asking if anyone else has been called for a particular job in Las vegas. This is NOT a RANT about which jobs are or should be in Teamsters, nor is it a topic for fortune tellers. It if doesn't apply....LET IT FLY!!!!! FOX 5 news has a ranting section more suited for YOUR expert views. Have a Blessed day.....
