Dollar for dollar, Vegas still represents the best destination choice for travelers even coming from the east coast. Flights are cheaper, rooms are a steal and there are enough deals on entertainment that people can have a great time coming here.

Well at least the tourists are starting to spend a little bit more on the gaming, so that's good news!

And I'm with you Buzz, Megabucks..oh what a dream that would be! Still trying after 32 years, I won't give up either. In fact, I'm going to Harrah's later this evening, so I'll just have to try again, lol

I was playing MegasBucks one time and I had fed a bunch of Dollars into it when suddenly, all the right symbols rolled on the line.. I couldn't belive it.. The machine starting whistling and screaming.. The lady next too me was having coniption and then one of the Managers came over to me and said Congratulations on winning 4.5 million dollars.. Now please come with me to do the paperwork.. As we were walking toward the cage area, I felt a sharp stab in my ribcage and realized I was now WIDE AWAKE as my wife had kicked me and woke up....

Well everyone always said that the rest of the country would have to recover before LV would, so this is a good sign.

That is October gaming revenue vs the last few years. It was a good month after a couple of down ones due to lower holds and slightly lower handle.

"Sports betting on the Strip fell 13.7 percent..."

I am pleased to report that I personally helped contribute to this decline.
