Three big things happening in the near future at that intersection of Sahara and Las Vegas Blvd - SLS, Lucky Dragon and Walgreens are all on track. The big holdout is the MGM property on the SW corner, if that ever moves, the North Strip will be a happening place. I hope it occurs.

I like Oseland's positiveness and "can do" spirit! He's definitely got the right attitude for what's needed up there, right now. If only he could figure out a way to spruce up "The World's Largest Souvenir Store!" I love that place, and don't ever want to see it bulldozed...but if he fixes that area up, they are going to have to figure a way to keep it, amidst the projected beauty. I say a facelift, inside and out...but keep the original signage, or some other structural tie to it's past.

I so want to go to that store, but because I am a sucker for cheesy tourist souvenirs (giant pencils, shot glasses, and magnets anyone?) I would need hours to spend in there!

It's such a cheese-ball store. Last time I was there (many years ago) I bought a fake spilled can of soda to place on top of a server to freak my boss out... Yes, I have the sense of humor of a twelve year old.

I like that kind of sense of humor. Sounds like something I would buy.
