Not sure how relevant it will be to anyone else, but Virgin Mobile offers unlimited WiMax (4G) broadband for much less, and based on the coverage map and what i've read from postings online, Las Vegas gets plenty of WiMax, especially the area that I'm looking into.

Let us know how that works out. I have Sprint, which is also on the Clear 4G network. My phone is rooted so I can use it as a wifi hotspot, but I've opted to use Cox for home internet. The issue for me with 4G is that it doesn't penetrate walls and loses signal for me in most houses and many buildings. LTE is the solution to this, but that hasn't rolled out yet for Clear.

The only other glitch with that plan is that they throttle your data after you hit the cap. While it is unlimited, you won't be watching any Netflix or heavy streaming stuff after you get throttled.

Quote:
Plan one, at $35 a month, the user gets 2 gigabytes of 3G data, and "unlimited 4G data." Virgin notes that "unlimited" is 10 gigabytes of unthrottled WiMax, then throttling kicks in for the remainder of the plan period. Plan two, at $55 a month, gets the user 5 gigabytes of 3G data, and the same unlimited 4G with the above fine print.

Henderson and Las Vegas both have the same internet providers. Hope that helps.
