What happened to all the doom-n-gloomers talking about how cold it gets in Las Vegas? This weather, combined with the colder stuff we had previously, is why the averages in Dec-Jan in Las Vegas are a low of about 35-40 degrees & high of about 55-60 degrees. Coming from cold weather climates (Chicago, Toronto, Minnesota), I'll happily take this every year.

Granted, it's an extreme case, but when I went to Minnesota over the holidays it was 61 when I left here, minus 12 (yes, -12) when I landed. (The windchill was about 30 below zero.) It was minus 3 (-3) when I left there & 67 here (according to the pilot) when we landed back in Las Vegas.

Yep, Las Vegas gets cold just like the midwest!

All my family in MN are jealous of the weather here in Las Vegas. They keep asking if I want to trade houses for the winter. I told them you couldn't pay me enough to live up there in -50* wind chill.

I meant to say chilly at night. I don't understand what people have against winter in Vegas.

Chilly better than frozen. I have friends in the Northeast shoveling snow. I was sitting in Starbucks drinking a pumpkin spice latte and getting blinded by the sun. Whoa is me, problems to have
