What is with you people,(rockhounders)?
After scouring countless sites over the past week I am dumbfounded by the amount of useless chitter chatter I have seen. I have never encountered such an unhelpful, whether ignorant
or secretive
, group of enthusiasts. I haven't received one helpful answer nor have I seen one posted to the questions of others.
Answering a question with "you can probably find something on google" is not helpful!
Is there anyone here not currently or previously married to one of their own siblings, possessing all of their teeth and who doesn't consider their own front yard to be "as gooda' place as any" to store decades worth of junk automobiles and appliances who will actually help me with some accurate information?
Question: Is their a local, (Las Vegas) buyer/shop where I cans sell any or all of these Chalcedony Roses I keep finding? Are they it worth anything?
Question: Can anyone tell me of a local spot where I can go with my son(12) and find interesting and or valuable specimens? Value isn't the premium, though nice, novelty and beauty plus an enjoyable experience are by far the most enticing carrots that drive this mule team.

If I had any good spots (I don't), I wouldn't post them here. There are people who read this forum who will cheerfully ruin anything -- fishing spots, hot springs, wild horses, burrows, mountain goats, etc.

After scouring countless sites over the past week I am dumbfounded by the amount of useless chitter chatter I have seen. I have never encountered such an unhelpful, whether ignorant
or secretive
, group of enthusiasts. I haven't received one helpful answer nor have I seen one posted to the questions of others.
