Does anybody know the cheapest nice non-casino hotel near the strip?

I don't want to pay resort fees if possible.

Thanks in advance.

The Super 8, behind Paris, is tolerable. They also charge less of the resort fee, but good luck finding any place that does not charge a resort fee at all these days

I stayed at the Trump on Fashion Show Dr. for a conference when the Venetian/Palazzo were full. The price seemed pretty reasonable and the accommodations were really nice. Great view of the valley (and, I assume, the strip on the other side of the building). Convenient to Fashion Show mall and strip.

There's an Embassy Suites behind the strip, on Paradise. Likely generic, but I've liked the ones I've stayed in (not Vegas )

hilarious. Trump would be offended knowing some see his property in the image of a Motel 6 or Holiday Inn.....................hahahahahaha.

If Trump actually owned the place. Phill Ruffin is the majority owner of the Trump in Vegas.

I just remember everyone (employees) being super nice and the bathroom in the room was the size of the bedroom in my apt in San Jose, CA at the time.

There were thunderstorms one night, so I pulled the couch away from the (floor to ceiling) window in the living room and sat on the carpet sipping Johnnie Walker Red and watching the lightning.

There's nothing like a desert thunderstorm.

The Motel 6 on Paradise across from the Hard Rock Hotel is inexpensive and fairly comfortable. Main Street Station downtown is inexpensive and has nice rooms. There are several suite-type hotels on Paradise Road, that are not too expensive, not too far from Flamingo Rd.
