Hi all,

I just moved to the Whitney Ranch area of Henderson from Spring Valley, and now I have a problem I hope you can help me with - I'm getting hungry and have to find all new places to eat/order from. I had my go-to places all set in my previous neighborhood, but now I'm looking for suggestions from you kind folks as to what's good in the area. I realize "good" is a term that is subject to individual tastes, but I'm mainly looking for a quality Italian restaurant, pizza place, Chinese takeout, a good old fashioned bacon cheeseburger, and maybe breakfast spots that open early and hopefully don't include the Einstein Bagels around the corner on Sunset. "N.Y. style", as many places advertise, would be a plus for the pizza and Chinese, as I lived in NYC for 40 years and the food is the only thing I really miss from back home.

BTW, as far as pizza goes, I've already tried and fallen in love with Settebello Pizza in GVR, which will be great for a sit-down lunch, but I'm really looking for a good delivery pizza for a hangout night at home.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

This seems like a job for Yelp.

We enjoyed the food at Sauce which is on the far north side of the Galleria Mall parking lot. Not NYC Italian, but decent Las Vegas Italian..

Try Mama diPalmas in the same shopping center as Target and Hobby Lobby for pizza. They deliver.
