Penn Jillette (of Penn & Teller) is apparently destroying this wacky custom made house but before he does so, he'll be holding a big public yard sale to get rid of tons of stuff that is inside. He hasn't been living in the house for a while and has sold/rented (not sure) it out to the United Church of Bacon (there's got to be some story behind this) recently.

Anyway, might be a fun, wacky thing to do and see the house. I have no idea if inside access will be permitted but even from the outside, it looks pretty unique. The event will be this Saturday, August 27th from 8am to Noon at 7601 West Wigwam Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89113.

Bring a camera just in case they allow you to walk the inside of the property. There are some funky rooms!

Thanks! I wonder if he decided to tear it down because it didn't sell? Certainly is unusual!

Penn is one of the founders of the church. The church is just an entity for fundraising for charity.

I had planned to go to cars and coffee at 7am, spend an hour or so there, and then head to Penn's. I got dressed, and stepped outside. That is when the first rain drop fell. This wouldn't be a problem if the car I want to take to the show has no wipers. LOL. How does this always happen?

So...

Has Penn and Teller's show at the Rio closed? Is that what's going on?
