Is there anyone who is trying to apply for a position at Cosmopolitan Hotel?
I know that they plan to open in December 2010. I have been watching their website closely for job openings. I am interested in finding a job in accounting/finance department. They listed some managerial positions and "various Finance/Accounting positions available" (but they didn't specify title and minimum requirements).

My question is:
Should I apply now even though they haven't listed specific postions yet? or Should I wait until they list specific postions?

I have been trying to find an accounting postion for 7 months (I moved to Henderson last Dec 09) and haven't had any luck yet.

I am getting very stressed out..................
Do you have any tips (or/and information) on brand new hotel hiring process?

My friend is going for an interview sometime next week. Apply now, the sooner the better. You will have lots of competition.

Sometimes looks are all you need.
Then sometimes its experience that seperates you from the rest.
But you can always stand out with a great degree.

Or you can have all 3 and still not get the job...

Oh please...the odds are much better that she could get hired for the accounting position. There is no more competitive job in Vegas than Bartending/cocktailing on the strip.

I'm thinking about it. If anything it would be an interesting experience I'm sure.
