I'm in Henderson and would love to know which non-gated communities have Christmas light displays that are worth checking out? If there are any worth traveling out to Summerlin for I'd definitely be interested in those as well. Thanks in advance.

We live in the Palm Canyon section of Henderson (Horizon Ridge south of Horizon) and they have a contest for the best decorated house. Winner gets a $100 gift card. Some of the houses look really nice and the owners have put a lot into their displays. Probably not worth a trip over here, though.

Last Saturday the Southern Nevada Camaro Club had a meet and we all went out to the Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It was quite a spectacle with 25 Camaros all going through at the same time. Glittering Lights is one of the best Christmas light displays in the U.S. with over a million lights. We went on a weekend and had to wait over an hour to get in since there were hundreds of cars there but during the week might not be too bad. It's worth checking out if you've never seen it.

Quiver Point Avenue near Horizon Ridge and Valle Verde usually has a phenomenal Christmas light display every year.
