Looking for info on what is going on towards the West side of Freemont
Street directly to the East side of the Plaza Hotel. Last time I was in town, a bunch of
those businesses were closed up and being renovated into something.
Just wondering how far along it is and what it will become.

I think she means the new resort that will replace the old Las Vegas Club, Mermaids, and Glitter Gulch. I was last there on New Year's Eve and the property was all boarded up. No word yet (that I've heard) on what will be there.

I don't think the Stevens brothers have revealed any renderings yet. Supposedly it will open in 2020, just like all the other stuff that may or may not happen.

Wait - they can't "just take stuff down'.

Isn't there a law they have to blow stuff up here.
