As a cord cutter, I am wondering what is the best way to follow my favorite Premier League club in Las Vegas. I like going to bars/restaurants to watch matches rather than stay at home.

Back in Dallas, I especially loved going to English Pubs that open early and watching the action on a Saturday/Sunday morning while eating a huge traditional English Breakfast. So yummy!

I have never tried to follow the Premier League on Pacific Time - only Eastern and Central time zones.

I am going to assume that no place will be open for a match starting at 12 noon GMT - which I assume is 4 AM in Las Vegas. Even an afternoon 3:00-3:30 GMT match might not be doable in LV.

I know that Buffalo Wild Wings is always an option across the country, but that would be limited to night matches over in Europe.

I am guessing that casino sports books are an option as a last resort.

So, are there any "Soccer Bars" or traditional English Pubs that open up early to watch the Premier League?

Thanks!

Maybe while you're there you can catch some AFL (Aussie Rules)

+1 on Crown and Anchor, but check which location might be showing. I think there are 2 spots.

+1 for McMullans. Everything is good except the nachos. If you like Bangers and Mash...

McMullan's Irish Pub

Go there a lot and go for an Ethnic dining club we belong to as well.

Every bar in town is 24 hours so there isn't a time frame you couldn't go to Crown and Anchor or McMullans and not see it. In fact most bars would show it if you ask and it's on a channel DirecTV gets in a standard package. The sports books actually might be difficult if they aren't open all night, but a number of them are in American football season so that would work until February. So you have little to worry about in general, other than cord cutting may lead you to spend more watching the games at bars than at home.

OmegaSupreme,

It's funny you mentioned that. I visited Melbourne and Sydney back in April/May and saw two AFL matches:

Carlton vs. West Coast Eagles at the Melbourne Cricket Ground
and
Sydney Swans vs. North Melbourne Kangaroos at the Sydney Cricket Ground

Australian Football is an interesting game and definitely worth a look when visiting. I don't know if I could get into it for the long haul. The sheer randomness of the ball taking funny bounces all over the place would annoy me too much. I feel like a team could play the perfect game and still lose.
