This is what I love about Vegas. I finally got to see James Taylor, at Caesars last night and he did not disappoint. In my younger years, it was either not having the money or they were not there when you did. In Vegas, you just wait and they come to you.
He asked the audience how many are from out of town and there was applause, then he asked how many are locals and there was an eruption of applause.
71 and he still has it. He was funny and interacted well with the audience. A lot of older people like myself, but they really livened the place up. You may still be able to get a ticket for the show tonight and it is well worth it. I have seen a lot of great shows here in Vegas and his was one of the best.

Dionne Warwick was fun and sound wonderful singing live. She plays Thur to Sat at Bally's. Fuerza Bruta was excellent but not well accepted in Vegas. Done well in other cities. Could be lack of advertising, high ticket price and of course the numerous Cirque shows in town.

I would love to see Fuerza Bruta come back in town perhaps somewhere in Downtown Vegas.

Yeah, the James Taylor cover of the Marvin Gaye "How sweet it is to be loved by you", reminds me of the cover Pat Boone did of Little Richard's Tutti Frutti.

James Taylor played at my school in 84, and he seemed kind of washed up then.
