If it were your decision to pick a developer to complete Fountainbleau, do you have a choice?

Myself, I just want a developer who will do the best job possible.

I'm leery of Penn, for some reason, even though they have a $1.5 billion credit line to complete it. But, the question is, are they only going to spend half that amount and we'll end up with less than desirable property? Skimp here, skimp there, and the next developer who buys it will have to re-do it all?

I have my reservations about Icahn, as well, as more than likely, he's just going to finish it and put it up for sale, like the Stratosphere. But will Icahn do a better job of it, finish it, and it'll be a project we can all be proud of?

But before the January deadline, perhaps another developer may yet come along with more money to spend.

I think the market will decide, besides, isn't the building already something of a travesty to begin with?

I think our luxury market is overbuilt. I hope we end up with a classy mid-range hotel that caters to value oriented middle class people.

What I would like to see is a casino that caters to advantage players. The casino could make a niche for itself making a good commission on gamers play while actually giving something back. I think this is lost on the current corporate gaming culture here.

When Anthony Marnell came out in a press release and said "Hey, advantage players, I am taking out all the machines that gave you a chance of winning and replacing them with garbage." he shot himself and the M in the foot. Why would a corporation do this?

The company has to make sure morale is high amongst the workers, provide a decent atmosphere and give something to the players. I don't think a corporate raider like Ichan is the man for the job.
