I lived in Vegas ten years and never had that pizza until I came to the St. Louis area. I still haven't gotten used to Provel but learned you can ask for mozzeralla.

I say try Aurelio's pizza located in Summerlin on Cheyenne. They cut their pizza into squares and it's the best pizza(IMO) in all of Vegas or midwest. Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but you won't be disappointed.

Some pizza places in Chicago (my home town) do put slices of sharp provolone on top of the already melted mozz chz. But next time I am in St Louis I will have to check that out. You have now made me hungry.

I don't know about that particular style or what area you live, but I found this great pizza place that has about everything you could think of! Excellent quality ingredients too, they have an e-mail that you may be able to reqest the pizza you're looking for check them out...

www.stlpizza.com and you can order it frozen so you can cook it at home. I am going to do this too. I miss it since I moved to Florida 6 years ago. When I go visit the first thing I get is Imo's, then Lions choice, then jack in the box. It's hard to leave it. I havn't found a good pizza in Florida yet.

Vegas has Jack in the Box. Imo's Pizza--only the locals...I've live in MO for a year now, still not been to Lion's Choice. I do like the toasted ravioli though...
